Who Keel is for

Your team ships fast. Nobody owns production.

Keel is built for B2B SaaS companies with a live product on AWS, 3 to 15 developers, and no dedicated platform team. If any of this sounds familiar, we should talk.

  • Risky or failed releases

Friday deploys get avoided, and a bad one means rolling back by hand.

  • Backups never tested

Only 28% of organisations hit by ransomware fully restored their data.

    Veeam, 2026

  • Infra work eats the sprint

Secrets, upgrades and certificates land on whoever knows the most.

  • A growing AWS bill

An estimated 29% of cloud spend is waste, and nobody reads the bill line by line.

Flexera State of the Cloud, 2026

A good fit

B2B SaaS on AWS and GitHub, shipping weekly or more, with ops work that is a few days a month, not a full-time job.

Not a fit, yet

Stacks outside AWS and GitHub, or teams that need a 24/7 human pager without a Scale plan.

The AI, shown working

AI does the legwork. A named engineer signs off.

Here is what the agents actually do on a normal week, and where a person always steps in.

  • Diagnoses a failed deploy

release #213 · health check failed→ rolled back in 1m 32scause: migration locked orders tabledraft fix: PR #215 (awaiting review)
  • Analyses an alert

    sentry · 5xx spike on /checkoutcorrelated: deploy 14:02, p95 +310ms→ summary posted to #engineering
  • Finds cloud waste

cost scan · weekly2 idle NAT gateways → removedb oversized for traffic → downsize→ added to cost review
  • Prepares an infra change

    request: "Redis cache for sessions"PR #88 · +42 -3 in infra/redis.tfpolicy check: passed→ ready for engineer review

Illustrative examples of the kind of work the agents do.

  • Automated

    Read-only work

Cost scans, backup checks, alert triage and log summaries run on their own.

  • Human approval

    Routine changes

AI drafts the pull request. An engineer reviews and approves it before it ships.

  • People only

    Risky actions

Deleting data, access or DNS changes: people only, with your written OK.

FAQ

The questions buyers ask first.

What access to our AWS account do you need?

A read-only role by default. Changes only happen through your own pipeline, as reviewed pull requests. Deleting data, access or DNS changes are done by people only, with your written OK.

Who owns the cloud account and the code?

You do. Everything runs in your AWS account, you pay AWS directly, and code, Terraform and runbooks live in your repos from day one.

What happens when something breaks?

A failed release rolls back on its own. In business hours (Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm UK), critical issues are answered within 1 business hour. Outside those hours, monitoring and auto-rollback keep watch and alerts go to your own on-call contact. Optional on-call cover is available on Foundation and Managed, and Scale includes a 24/7 human rota.

How long is the contract?

Month to month. Cancel any month. Start with a 4-week paid pilot. There is a one-off onboarding fee, and you can pay annually and save 10%.

What if we want to leave?

Leave any month, with everything. Because the code, infrastructure and runbooks are already in your repos and account, there is nothing to hand back.

Do you write app features or fix app bugs?

No. We run operations: releases, backups, infrastructure, security and cost. When we spot an app bug, we can raise it as a ticket in Jira or Linear on request.

Want this afternoon for your team?

20 minutes, no slides. We'll tell you honestly if Keel is a fit, and what we'd fix first.

  • Free call, then a £1,250 audit if it's a fit
  • Live within 30 days, or month one is refunded
  • No lock-in: it all lives in your account

We reply within one business day with a few times.
